What is OCTOCRYLENE?
Octocrylene is a sunscreen filter that absorbs UV rays and helps other filters last longer in sunlight. Some passes through the skin, but at the levels EU experts assessed, the health risk is low. It's fine for normal use; it occasionally causes a skin allergy, especially in people who reacted to sunscreens or ketoprofen gel.
