Understand every ingredient on the label.

Photograph a food, drink or cosmetic label. Yasno reads it, explains each ingredient in three plain sentences, and shows where the information comes from.

Coming soon to the App Store, in English and Bulgarian.

How it works

  1. Take a photo of the ingredient list, and of the nutrition panel if there is one. For a round jar or bottle you can take a few photos.
  2. Yasno reads the label and matches each ingredient to its own database, including E-numbers and cosmetic (INCI) names.
  3. You get a verdict for each ingredient, a short summary of the whole product, and a score worked out with simple arithmetic that we publish in full.

Three verdicts, always with a reason

A caution or avoid verdict always names the specific reason and at least one trustworthy source. If a label is fine, Yasno says so briefly instead of inventing worries. Read how Yasno decides.

Personal, if you want it

You can tell Yasno about allergies, pregnancy, some health conditions and your skin type. It then points out ingredients that matter for you in particular. This is optional, each part has its own switch, and it stays on your phone unless you choose to sign in.

Always check the physical label. Recipes change and databases lag. Yasno points out allergens it finds. It never tells you a product is free of an allergen or safe for you.
