ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE

What is ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE?

Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, also called octinoxate, is one of the most common sunscreen filters and absorbs UVB rays. Some of it reaches the bloodstream, and lab studies saw hormone-like activity at much higher doses, but no harm has been shown in people. EU safety experts found a large safety margin, so it's fine for normal use.
